From Whitney Houston—my first teacher—to the women who showed me the power of subtlety, and the neo soul artists who helped me find myself, every era shaped how I sing, phrase, and tell stories. Jazz stretched me, groove grounded me, and lived experience taught me that soul isn’t volume—it’s honesty. All of those influences live in my music today, woven together as my voice, my lineage, and my offering.

Integration gave me freedom. My Blackness, queerness, womanhood, and artistry now move together as one.
